4Closed is a 2013 horror-thriller film directed by Nick Lyon and written by Geoffrey Plitt. The film follows a young family, Jim and Kathy, who moves into a foreclosed house with their daughter, Emma. The house was abandoned by its previous owner, the financially troubled and mentally unstable Warren, who was evicted from the property.
As the family starts to settle in, they discover that someone has been breaking into their home and leaving strange messages. Soon, Warren makes his presence known, and he begins a campaign of terror against the family, using every tactic available to him to drive them out of the house.
Warren starts by taunting and threatening Jim at his work and in the neighborhood, causing Jim to lose his job. Warren then starts to sabotage the house, causing electricity and water outages, and creating dangerous situations, such as gas leaks. Warren also calls in false reports to the police and poisons their dog.
As the attacks escalate, the family realizes the danger they are in and tries to fight back. Jim and his friend, Rob, do some digging into Warren's past and find out that he has a history of violence, and that he has a deeply disturbed psyche. Armed with this information, Jim decides to confront Warren, hoping to reason with him and end the harassment.
However, Warren is beyond reason, and he attacks Jim. The confrontation quickly turns deadly, and the family must fight to survive against this deranged man who will stop at nothing to reclaim his home.
In the end, the family manages to overcome Warren and escape the house. The film ends with the family finding a new home and starting a new life, while Warren is arrested and taken into custody.
