30 Minutes or Less is a 2011 comedy film directed by Ruben Fleischer and starring Jesse Eisenberg, Danny McBride, Aziz Ansari, and Nick Swardson. The film follows the story of Nick (Eisenberg), a slacker pizza delivery guy who is kidnapped by two inept criminals named Dwayne (McBride) and Travis (Swardson).
Dwayne and Travis are aspiring criminals who need money to hire an assassin to kill Dwayne's overbearing father, who has recently won the lottery and cut him off from his inheritance. They hatch a plan to kidnap a pizza delivery guy, strap a bomb to his chest, and force him to rob a bank so they can use the stolen money to pay for the assassin.
Nick is chosen as their target after he delivers a pizza to the duo's hideout. They ambush him, strap the bomb to his chest, and give him instructions to rob the bank within a few hours. Nick enlists the help of his best friend Chet (Ansari), a teacher who is initially hesitant to help but eventually agrees to assist Nick in his quest to rob the bank.
As Nick and Chet embark on their bank robbery scheme, they encounter various obstacles and challenges, including a rival gang of criminals, a suspicious bank employee, and the police. Along the way, Nick and Chet must navigate their friendship and figure out how to defuse the bomb before it explodes.
