In the movie 22 vs. Earth, 22 is a soul who has yet to find her purpose and refuses to go to Earth to begin her journey. She creates a rebellious group of five new souls in an attempt to avoid going to Earth and discovering her purpose like the others. However, their activities lead to unexpected consequences, and their attempts to subvert the system are met with resistance from the Great Before.
