Schmidt and Jenko are once again played by Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum respectively in this hilarious sequel to the hit comedy 21 Jump Street. This time around, the pair are sent to a local college to investigate and bring down a dangerous drug ring. As they dive deeper into the investigation, they begin to realize that college life isn't as easy as they thought it would be.
Schmidt, who was the popular kid in high school, struggles to fit in with the cool crowd at college, while Jenko finds himself becoming fast friends with the jocks on the football team. As they both explore different groups on campus, they begin to drift apart and question their partnership.
Along the way, they encounter a host of quirky characters, including a hilarious performance by Jillian Bell as Mercedes, an obnoxious roommate of Schmidt's love interest Maya (played by Amber Stevens West). They also reunite with Ice Cube's character, Captain Dickson, who has moved his headquarters to a local church across the street from the college.
The film is filled with nod and winks to the viewers, as it self-referentially pokes fun at itself being a sequel, with exaggerated action sequences and comedic moments that mirror the first movie. With its hilarious script, great performances, and non-stop laughs, 22 Jump Street is a must-see comedy.
