21 Bridges is a 2019 American action thriller film directed by Brian Kirk. It stars Chadwick Boseman as detective Andre Davis, who is known for his controversial tactics and past misconduct. During a drug robbery gone wrong, two police officers are killed, and Davis is called upon to lead a city-wide manhunt to catch the killers.
In an effort to capture the suspects, Davis orders all 21 bridges leading in and out of Manhattan to be closed, thus trapping the suspects on the island. As the night progresses, Davis and his partner Frankie Burns (played by Sienna Miller) track down the suspects and uncover a massive conspiracy involving corrupt cops, drug dealers and politicians.
The film has a tense and gritty atmosphere, with plenty of intense action sequences and high-stakes plot twists. In addition to Boseman and Miller, the talented cast also features J.K. Simmons, Stephan James, Taylor Kitsch and Keith David. Overall, 21 Bridges is a thrilling and suspenseful movie that keeps you on the edge of your seat until the very end.
