As the world faces imminent destruction, governments around the world secretly prepare for the worst by building massive arks that will save a small portion of humanity. However, only a select few are chosen to board the arks, leaving billions to face certain death.
Jackson Curtis, a struggling writer and divorced father, must fight against all odds to save his family and join the privileged few on the arks. He teams up with radio host Charlie Frost, who has been predicting the end of the world for years and has insider knowledge on the arks' locations.
As natural disasters continue to ravage the world, Curtis must race against time to reach the arks before they depart for their new home. Along the way, he faces dangerous obstacles and battles against those who will stop at nothing to secure a spot on the coveted arks.
Despite the odds, Curtis eventually succeeds in getting his family on board an ark and they join the few who will start a new life on a new world. The movie ends with those left behind facing certain doom as the world is destroyed by catastrophic natural disasters.
