In 18 Year Old Virgin, protagonist Katie Powers (Olivia Alaina May) is determined to lose her virginity before graduating high school. However, her attempts are repeatedly thwarted by comedic mishaps and awkward encounters with potential partners.
She initially sets her sights on popular jock, Ryan (Patrick Cavanaugh), but quickly realizes that he only wants her for a bet with his friends. Undeterred, Katie continues her quest, even seeking the help of her best friend, Rose (Lauren Walsh), who offers her some questionable advice.
Along the way, Katie also crosses paths with a drug dealer who mistakes her for a prostitute, a gay classmate who has a crush on her, and a trio of college guys who take her to a wild party. However, as the clock ticks down to graduation, Katie begins to realize that losing her virginity is not the most important thing in her life.
