After a freak accident during a college basketball game, 18-year-old David Watson (Charlie Schlatter) wakes up to find that he has switched bodies with his 81-year-old grandfather, Jack Watson (George Burns). With his youth renewed, Jack Watson is thrilled to relive his younger years and uses this opportunity to try to reconcile with his estranged wife, Madeline (played by the legendary actress Anita Morris).
Meanwhile, David is stuck in his grandfather's body, trying to navigate life as an elderly man. He must not only adjust to being in a senior citizen's body, but also to his grandfather's life, which includes dealing with a difficult business partner and a slew of health issues. David also starts a romance with his grandfather's former flame, who has always thought of Jack as the love of her life.
As the two men try to find their way back to their own bodies, they learn valuable lessons about life, love, and the importance of family. 18 Again! is a heartwarming comedy that celebrates the joys of aging and reminds us that it's never too late to make things right.
