The movie 14 Blades is a Hong Kong-Chinese martial arts action film directed by Daniel Lee. It was released in 2010 and stars Donnie Yen, Vicki Zhao, and Wu Chun.

The story takes place in the Ming Dynasty and follows the protagonist, Qinglong, who is a skilled member of the Jinyiwei, a secret organization of assassins who serve the Emperor. After being framed for treason by Jia, an evil eunuch who has seized power in the Imperial Court, Qinglong is forced to flee for his life.

As he navigates through the dangerous and treacherous world outside the palace, Qinglong discovers a conspiracy aiming to overthrow the Emperor. Determined to clear his name and protect the Emperor, Qinglong sets out to expose the traitors, recruit allies, and fight his way through numerous enemies, including his former fellow Jinyiwei members.

Throughout his journey, Qinglong is assisted by Qiao Hua, a streetwise thief who becomes his ally and confidante. Together, they face formidable foes, thrilling action scenes, and unexpected twists and turns.

The film's title refers to the 14 blades that Qinglong possesses, which he uses to deadly effect and which are also symbolic of his devotion to the Emperor. In addition to its action scenes and martial arts choreography, 14 Blades also explores themes of loyalty, betrayal, and honor, and features a cast of complex characters.
