The protagonist of the movie is Elliot Brindle, played by Mark Webber, a young salesman who is struggling to make ends meet and provide for his fiancée and mentally challenged brother. Just as he hits rock bottom, he receives a phone call from a mysterious woman offering him a chance to win a fortune by completing a series of increasingly bizarre and dangerous tasks.
Desperate for money, Elliot agrees to play along, thinking that he can back out at any time. However, as he progresses through the tasks, he realizes that there is no turning back and that the consequences of failure are dire. The challenges range from harmless pranks to serious criminal acts, and Elliot must decide how far he is willing to go to win the prize money.
As he becomes more and more involved in the game, Elliot is pursued by a detective who is trying to unravel the mystery behind the sinister organization that runs the game. Along the way, Elliot is forced to confront his own moral values and the true nature of the people around him, including his fiancée and his own family.
The movie builds up to a tense and shocking finale, as Elliot comes face to face with the mastermind behind the game and realizes the true price of his greed and desperation.
