The movie 12th Floor follows the story of Taylor, a young woman who has been wheelchair-bound since a car accident that killed her father. After struggling to live independently, she moves in with her mother who is also disabled and living in an independent living apartment complex.
As Taylor begins to settle into her new home, she quickly discovers that the complex is not as innocent as it seems. She meets her neighbor, a retired detective who is investigating a series of suspicious deaths that have occurred on the 12th floor.
As Taylor becomes more involved in the investigation, she uncovers a sinister plot that involves several residents of the complex, including the building manager and some of her own neighbors. With the help of her new friend, the retired detective, Taylor must navigate the dangerous web of lies and greed to uncover the truth and prevent the next victim.
Throughout the movie, Taylor also struggles with her own limitations and the impact they have on her relationships with others. As she becomes embroiled in the investigation, she must confront her own fears and insecurities in order to solve the case and find justice for the victims.
