12 Hour Shift is a dark comedy film directed by Brea Grant. It takes place in Arkansas in 1998, where Mandy (played by Angela Bettis), a drug-addicted nurse, is working a 12-hour shift at the hospital. However, it quickly becomes apparent that she has a lucrative side hustle going on, selling organs and body parts on the black market with the help of her cousin, Regina (Chloe Farnworth).
Things take a turn for the worse when a truck carrying a fresh load of organs crashes on the highway, leaving Mandy and Regina scrambling to replace the missing organs before their buyer arrives. This sets off a chain of events that involve incompetent hitmen, a bumbling security guard, and a group of violent criminals who are after the same organs.
Throughout the film, the audience is taken on a wild ride as the characters try to outsmart each other and get their hands on the prized organs. The film is a darkly comedic take on the criminal underworld, with moments of gore, violence, and unexpected humor.
