Patch's Quest for True Identity

Patch is a young Dalmatian pup who is one of the 101 Dalmatians born to Pongo and Perdita. He feels like he is not special or unique like the other puppies, especially when he sees that all the others have distinct spots on their coats, while his own spots are shaped like a paw print.
When the Dalmatians' owners, Roger and Anita, decide to move to the countryside, Patch is accidentally left behind on the moving truck. Lost and alone in the big city, Patch desperately tries to find his way back home, but he soon gets sidetracked by his favorite TV show hero, Thunderbolt, a famous canine superhero.
Patch is thrilled to meet Thunderbolt in person, but he quickly learns that the superhero is not actually as heroic as he seems on TV, and that his stunts are all staged. Thunderbolt is in fact a vain actor dog who is struggling to maintain his public image.
However, when Thunderbolt's TV show is threatened to be cancelled due to falling ratings, the two dogs team up to save the day. Thunderbolt needs a real adventure to prove to his fans that he is still a true hero, and Patch agrees to help him by faking a rescue mission involving the 101 Dalmatians, who are allegedly in danger from their old enemy, Cruella De Vil.
The plan goes awry, however, when Cruella herself shows up and kidnaps all the puppies, including Patch's siblings. It's up to Patch and Thunderbolt to save the day and rescue the puppies from Cruella's clutches, with help from some new friends along the way. In the end, Patch learns that he does have something special to offer, and that he is just as much a part of the Dalmatian family as any of his siblings.
