But as Mia prepares to embark on her adventure, she realizes that her 10-year-old daughter, Sofia, is unhappy about the prospect of leaving her hometown of San Antonio, Texas. Sofia is struggling to adjust to her parents' recent divorce and is finding comfort in the familiar surroundings of her family's restaurant, Mi Casa Es Su Casa. The once-thriving establishment is now on the brink of closure due to a lack of customers and a shortage of funds.
When Mia arrives in Europe, she is quickly swept up in the glamour and excitement of her new show, but she can't shake the feeling that something is missing. As she travels through picturesque cities and meets fascinating people, she begins to wonder if the life she's been dreaming of is really what she wants.
Meanwhile, back in San Antonio, Sofia is teaming up with her grandmother and best friend to save Mi Casa Es Su Casa from going under. With her mother's help, Sofia launches a social media campaign that attracts customers from all over the city, and the restaurant begins to thrive once again.
