Skateboard Survivors: A Night in Los Angeles

Concrete Kids is a 2018 adventure film directed by Lije Sarki and written by Alex Angelo. The film centers around two best friends, Ant and Woody, played by Christopher Romero and Myles Strampello respectively, who live in Venice Beach, California. The two boys are both avid skateboarders and dream of one day becoming professional skaters.

One day, they come across a flyer advertising a survival contest being held at the Staples Center in downtown LA. The winner will receive $5,000 and ultimate bragging rights. The catch is that they must make it to the Staples Center by 8am the next morning, without any assistance from adults.

Despite the challenge, Ant and Woody are determined to win. They set off on their skateboards, making their way through the busy streets and facing various obstacles along the way. They encounter a group of older boys who try to steal their skateboards, but the two friends manage to outsmart them.

As the night goes on, Ant and Woody face even more challenges, including a run-in with the police. However, they persevere and make it to the Staples Center just in time for the contest.

Concrete Kids is a heartwarming story of friendship and determination, highlighting the power of a shared goal and the strength of the human spirit. The film also features a talented cast of young actors, including Luna Blaise, Oscar Nunez, and Joey Luthman.
